We are so excited! The Easter Bunny is coming to Austin Zoo for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! You don’t want to miss all the fun! Come join us on Saturday, April 19th.

Easter Egg Hunt Saturday April 19
The Easter Bunny is coming to Austin Zoo!
- Tickets are 10.00each,10.00 each, 10.00each,7.50 each for our Austin Zoo members.
- Pre-registration is required, no walk-up tickets will be available.
- Our Easter Egg Hunt is intended for children 2 – 12 years of age.
- Sale of tickets will close at 5:00pm on Wednesday, April 16th.
- Your ticket includes admission to Austin Zoo for the whole day.
- Check-in opens at 8:15 am, the hunt will begin promptly at 8:45am.
- RAIN or SHINE! Bring a raincoat or umbrella if needed.
- Children should bring their own Easter Baskets for hunting.

Hanging around Austin during spring break or over the summer this year? We are now accepting applications for Summer Camp Counselor Positions for May 27 – August 8.

Personalize your visit – Schedule a private animal encounter. Planning a celebration? Our event spaces are perfect for birthday parties, corporate events and other private gatherings.
Learn something new – Our educational programs cater to all ages and interests from school field trips to kid’s camps, to our family nature series and scout programs.
All Aboard the Zoo Train
Hop aboard our train when you visit. The train operates on all days the zoo is open.
Bring Your Own Picnic
Feel free to bring your own food and drinks for the day and enjoy a leisurely picnic in our Picnic Grove.
Animal Feeding Area
Interact with and feed our sheep, deer, goats, llamas and alpacas in our Hoofstock Feeding Area.
Daily Zookeeper Chats
Our dedicated zookeepers share fascinating insights and heartwarming tales from the frontlines of animal care.
Private Animal Encounters
Are you ready for a unique and intimate animal experience? Join us for private sessions where small groups can meet our Capybaras or Galapagos Tortoises up close. Each 25-30 minute session is guided by one of our knowledgeable staff members, who will share fascinating insights and information about these incredible animals.
