The Baroque Ensemble Accademia Daniel was founded by a group of leading Israeli musicians, each of whom is presently engaged in building a successful international career in cities such as: Prague, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Boston and more. The Ensembles rehearses both in Israel and Europe. The Ensemble's Repertoire stems primarily from the Baroque. They perform both in concert and important festivals in Israel and Europe (such as The Liturgica Festival, Jerusalem, Abu-Gosh, Tel-aviv museum, Haydn Festival, Bach-Museum, Händelhaus, Prague-Symphony, Michaelstein, Kassel, Fulda, Bad-Toelz, Haldensleben, Thessaloniki and many more) together with world known soloists such as Simon Standage, Guy de Mey, Barbara Schlick, Michael Schneider, John Toll, Rainer Zipperling, Carolyn Watkinson, Oslo Baroque Soloists etc.

In July 1998 they recorded the complete Op. 1 by George Frideric Handel for the Italian label Stadivarius; in February 1999 they recorded the complete Bass cantatas by Johann Friedrich Fasch, together with Klaus Mertens and Deborah York for the German label CPO and in October 2000 selected unknown Bass cantatas by Christoph Graupner With Klaus Mertens for the label HR.
