John Hancock Hall

John Hancock Hall seats 1,100 guests in a setting defined by comfort, clarity, and intimacy. Refined acoustics, comfortable seating, and precise sightlines ensure every program is experienced with ease. The expansive professional stage is fully equipped with lighting and sound, two Steinway grand pianos, and generous dressing rooms.

Dorothy Quincy Suite

The Dorothy Quincy Suite opens to a collection of spaces named to inspire, offering flexibility for gatherings of varying scale while maintaining a cohesive sense of place.

A walk along the Esplanade leads to the Back Bay Grand, offering 5,040 square feet of flexible space with a built-in stage. Nearby, the Justice and Liberty rooms form a private suite-within-a-suite, complete with a dedicated vestibule and coat closet—ideal for discreet, contiguous meetings.

Following a session in the Freedom Room, guests may enjoy a quiet lunch in The Common. A passage through The Charles, a gathering space accented with fine art, brings you to the Patriot room, designed for impactful presentations.

Back Bay Events Center is designed to host multiple events for different clients simultaneously, with thoughtfully planned circulation and shared spaces that support parallel use. For those seeking complete privacy, the full facility may also be reserved for exclusive use.

A stroll along The Esplanade, a pre-reception space, leads to the Back Bay Grand, a 5,040-square-foot space with a built-in stage, suited for large gatherings, receptions, and performances.

Freedom

Back Bay Grand

The Freedom room is located adjacent to The Common. At 1,296 square feet, it is our most frequently selected meeting space, with convenient access for lunch or informal breaks in The Common.

Patriot

A walk down The Charles leads to the Patriot room. With 1,224 sq. ft. of space, impactful presentations and meaningful exchange happen here.
