Black Hills Institute of Geological Research’s primary pursuit is to collect, preserve, and provide well-prepared fossil specimens, minerals, cast replicas, and related information to museums, researchers, and private collectors. We have worked nearly five decades developing one of the finest and most comprehensive paleontological and mineral collections from our region, collateral collections from other regions, and an extensive reference library.
