Norah Jones’ “Feels Like Home” has made itself at home atop The Billboard 200. It holds the chart peak for a sixth straight week. U.S. sales of Jones’ Blue Note set are down about 19% to 147,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan, giving the album total sales of 2.2 million.

Jones fends off a strong debut from hip-hop newcomer Cassidy, whose “Split Personality” (Full Service/J Records) lands at No. 2 with 118,000 copies. Sales of the album were fueled by hit single “Hotel” featuring R. Kelly. The cut is No. 5 on Billboard’s Hot Rap Tracks tally, and the accompanying video clip is in heavy rotation at MTV and BET.

Evanescence’s “Fallen” (Wind-Up) and Jessica Simpson’s “In This Skin” (Columbia) swap places this week. The former is up 4-3, surviving a 2% sales dip to 105,000 copies, while Simpson’s set slips one to No. 4 on an 11% drop to 103,000 copies.

Godsmack’s seven-song mini-album “The Other Side” (Universal) is the week’s other big debut, entering the chart at No. 5 with 98,000 copies sold. The set features mostly acoustic reworkings of old Godsmack songs. The act’s 2003 album “Faceless” debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200, and has sold 1.1 million copies to date.

Other albums debuting this week are “The Very Best of Jackson Browne” (Elektra/Asylum) at No. 46, “Ultimate Daryl Hall + John Oates” (BMG Heritage) at No. 63, Elton John’s “Greatest Hits 1970-2002” (Island) at No. 143 and David Byrne’s “Grown Backwards” (Nonesuch) at No. 178.

Overall U.S. album sales are on par with last week at 11.2 million, about 13% ahead of the comparable week last year. Sales for the year to date are up 9% from 2003.
