The Avalon Community Pool is OPEN! Pool passes can be purchased at the Avalon Borough Administrative Office. Check out our Parks and Recreation page for more information. Avalon Borough is accepting applications for a full-time Department of Public Works Maintenance Worker. More information can be found on the Borough's Employment Opportunities page. Applications must be submitted by 4:00 pm on Monday, June 30, 2025.

Avalon Borough will be celebrating its 150-year anniversary in 2025! We need help from residents to make this event special. If you have historical photos, artifacts, or stories about Avalon that you would like to share, we would love to talk to you. We also encourage any resident who is interested in planning the celebratory event to attend a committee meeting. The next Sesquicentennial Meeting will be: Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 7:00 pm Avalon Borough Council ChambersPlease contact Council Member Beth Mosley if you're interested.
