Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Department of Human Resources’ (DHR) mission is to provide excellent customer service to its nearly 700+ internal stakeholders, our employees, including full-time/part-time permanent, contractual and on call classes, who serve Cecil County’s external stakeholders, its citizens. The Department is responsible for the full spectrum of Human Resources services including, but not limited to: Recruitment, Employee Onboarding/ Offboarding, Classification & Compensation, Policies & Procedures, Legal Compliance, Benefits, Leave & Employee Wellness, Training, and Employee Relations.
Through departmental collaboration and strategic planning, Cecil County’s DHR seeks to foster and maintain a high performing, safe, diverse, and productive workforce in order to maximize individual and organizational potential as an employer of choice.
