BID BOARD: e-Procurement Portal

Cecil County has partnered with OpenGov and now features the eProcurement bid solicitation process which is a fully automated, web-based electronic bidding and vendor management system.
Our new e-Procurement Portal will allow interested parties to do the following:
- Register to bid and receive notifications of future opportunities in the e-Procurement Portal by selecting Subscribe to create an account.
- Follow updates to existing solicitations by finding the solicitation and clicking the Follow button. This will allow all interested parties to receive amendments and addenda automatically.
- Submit questions and receive answers for open solicitations.
- Guide vendors through the process of responding electronically to RFPs, bids, etc. to ensure submissions have been accurately completed.
- Ultimately, be your one location for all bid opportunities issued by Cecil County.

The Procurement Office is a division of the Cecil County Finance Department.
Goals/Purpose: To procure necessary supplies, equipment and services at reasonable prices, in adequate quantities, of satisfactory quality and on schedule from reliable suppliers through a central purchasing function.
Cecil County, Maryland Procurement Office is the designated procurement authority as outlined in the Code of Cecil County, Chapter 92 and has authorized/delegated this responsibility to the Purchasing Agent.
Solicitations
Formal solicitations are required for purchases $50,000 or over and are advertised publicly.
Note: Cecil County reserves the right to use a 6% Local Preference for vendors/contractors on some formal solicitations.
