As Sheriff, you have my solemn oath that my team of law enforcement professionals will work hand in hand with the communities we serve to make Cecil County a great place to live, work, and raise a family. The Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency for the citizens of Cecil County and as such I will always hold myself and every member of this agency to the highest levels of service and integrity. Chief Deputy Gerald Widdoes	Bureau of Law Enforcement The men and women of the Cecil County Sheriff's Office are committed to dedicated service through superior performance. Their accomplishments and contributions to the Cecil County Sheriff's Office are part of the fabric of an agency, which epitomizes the best in law enforcement. Bureau of Community Corrections The purpose of the Center is to house and rehabilitate individuals who have been convicted of a crime but who, in the judgment of the Court and appropriate Correctional Personnel, can participate in community activities such as employment and rehabilitation programs without posing a substantial danger to the community. Cecil County Detention Center As a division of the Sheriff’s Office, the Detention Center’s mission is to provide a clean, safe and secure place of confinement for persons committed or adjudicated to our facility by proper authority of law.
