Nestled between St Martha’s on the Hill and Blackheath is our Infant School and Nursery welcoming children ages 2-7.

Welcome to Chilworth Church of England Infant School in Guildford, Surrey. We are a one form entry village school with a popular attached nursery providing quality education for children from 2-7 yrs.

At Chilworth, our vision is to create a safe, caring Christian environment where every child develops a love of life and learning. Our school values of love, life and welcome are at the heart of everything we do, brought to life with enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication by our wonderful team.

I am very proud and privileged to be the Headteacher of this wonderful Infant and Nursery school.
At Chilworth we want our children to not only love learning but to show love to those around them. Our young children are the life of our community and we want to offer them a school experience that gives them life in all its fullness. Chilworth School is a welcoming environment where everyone is valued and we extend this welcome to you!
We have a friendly, caring and dedicated staff who provide an excellent education for the children in their care. We offer an exciting, hands-on curriculum which is designed to meet every child’s needs.
Chilworth C of E Infant School is a wonderful environment for children to start their school journey. Although our school premises may look small, we are fortunate that our buildings are set in extensive grounds, fully enclosed for safety and security. Each classroom has covered areas to enable outdoor learning whatever the weather. Our grounds include a sizeable sports field, a pond, a large playground with trim trail and a swimming pool!
Parents are highly supportive of the school. As well as volunteering as reading helpers and accompanying us on trips, they run a fabulous PTA raising vital funds for the school. A website can only give you a flavour of all we have to offer – tours are always welcome so please call the office to organise a time to visit – you will be most welcome!
