The Choir Schools’ Association exists to promote and support the education and wellbeing of choristers – the young people at the heart of the UK’s world-class choral tradition.

Supporting Choristerships with the CSA Bursary Trust

Through our Bursary Trust, which is supported by the Department for Education’s Music and Dance Scheme, we are able to provide means-tested support to choristers attending our member schools. The aim of the Bursary Trust is to help make a choir school education open to all, regardless of financial situation.

Use our ‘Find a Choir’ tool to find opportunities to become a chorister near you. Each of our members has provided a brief introduction to their setting, contact details and a link to their website.

Voice Trials for Boys at King’s School, Gloucester

Talented boys in current Year 2, 3 or 4 who enjoy singing are invited to audition to become King’s School Choristers in the historic Cathedral Choir. King’s School Choristers experience a unique way of life and benefit from a wonderfully enriched musical, academic and cultural education.
