Dog Is Dead have decided to name their forthcoming debut album ‘All Our Favourite Stories’.

Hailing from Nottingham, Clash have been charting the progress of Dog Is Dead for some time. Rising to prominence on the back of a Glastonbury performance, the band have been slowly stockpiling new material.

Heading into the studio last year with Nottingham based producer Guy Elderfield, the band focussed on their first full length document. Set to be released this Autumn, Dog Is Dead have decided to name the upcoming album ‘All Our Favourite Stories’.

Before this, though, Dog Is Dead are preparing a new single. ‘Glockenspiel Song’ has long been a part of the band’s live set, and will gain a full release via Atlantic on July 23rd.

Singer Rob Milton had the following to say about the new single. “?’Glockenspiel Song’ is our feel good track about our childhood and the place we grew up in. We always planned to re-release this in the lead up to releasing our debut album as while we were blown away by the reaction first time around we always wanted to rerecord it, make a proper video and get it out there to a wider audience – it’s a hell of a lot of fun to play and a big live favourite so Summer 2012 is the perfect time to get it out there.”?
