This is a black and white image of four EISA chips made by Intel laying on top of a wafer fab containing several dies. The wafer fab is labeled "EISA" and the four EISA chipsresting on top are labeled clockwise from top left is "i82355", "i82357", "i82352", and "i82358". Each of the four EISA chips have the Intel logo stamped on it. Written on the white piece of paper taped on verso side is "Intel Corporation's 82350 Extended Industry Standard Architecture (EISA) family is the industry's first set of devices to implement the new 32-bit EISA bus. Shown here (top left): The 82355 bus master interface controller is used to high-performance bus master add-in cards. The 82357 integrated system peripheral and (bottom left) the 82358 EISA bus controller together reside on the mother board to implement the EISA bus and to ensure EISA compatibility.
