Peugeot 107 : A new smile in town
The 107, which replaces the 106 is Peugeot's entry model into the small car market segment. This market segment has grown by 25% in the last ten years due to the introduction of a diverse choice of vehicles which, continues to attract new manufacturers and new model offerings. Peugeot is already well known in this segment with its popular 206, and now further reinforces its position with the innovative 107.
The 107 is Peugeot's interpretation of the small city car and was jointly developed and produced by PSA Peugeot Citroën and Toyota Motor Corporation. It is manufactured at the TPCA Kolin production plant in the Czech Republic, along side its 'two sister cars' which share the same platform.
At the front, the 107 naturally picks up the styling cues used on the latest Peugeots, with its young, playful animal face expressed in a smiling 'mouth' and elongated eyes. Its 'deliberate' anti-conformism assumes an innovative expression, with styling cues and original curves, body-coloured lower front panels proving that character and simplicity are not mutually exclusive.
The 107, however, is no spartan entry model to the Peugeot range.
Young and fun, it brings a breath of fresh air to the range.
Its favourite playground is the city. For weaving in and out, parking, commuting - but also for escaping - everyone will appreciate its smile, cheekiness and versatility.

The new Peugeot 107 'Eco-friendly' through and through
Its love of the city dates from the Spring of 2005, though it is more than happy to take the motorway out of town ...
With more than 322,000 units produced (to the end of September 2008) and owners among the best ambassadors of its numerous qualities, the 107 provides an efficient and clever response to the needs of urban mobility and does so with a smile on its face.
The 107 is attractive…
Its fun-and-youthful appearance, multiple body colours and cute-shaped headlamps light up the road as well as the lives of its customers. For these customers, style counts for much in their choice of car and still remains a strong decisive factor.
The 107 offers key benefits …
Its handling and low running costs, important and distinctive criteria of choice in its segment, together with its stylish appearance and affordable purchase price, result in a user satisfaction level way above the market average.
The 107 expresses youthfulness …
Like most vehicles in this category it is purchased as a second or third car in the family, the 107 stands out from the competition particularly by the prevalence of owners who are females in its customer base (69%, a quarter of them under the age of 35), a higher proportion of single people living with their parents and a lower proportion of retired people.
