The Southwest Conservation District is a nonprofit that provides technical assistance, information, and education about natural resource conservation and management to residents and municipalities in southwest Connecticut.
We help the public with soil, water, and other conservation issues including:
- Soil and water conservation
- Erosion and sedimentation control
- Stormwater management
- Water quality protection and watershed management
- Wetland protection and restoration
- Conservation planning
- Pollinator & wildlife habitat
