It is our great privilege, as time serving custodians of these historic gardens, to share our magical path with those who do understand and appreciate its value. Through this web site, we aim to communicate our intent as we restore the gardens to a better state of health.

Our main objective is to attract interest and support from the community at large and to help re-educate ourselves and our children about the importance of sustainable and healthy living.

The Walled Kitchen Gardens at Croome is an independent restoration project, funded by Karen & Chris Cronin. If you wish to learn, or help us teach more about traditional gardening practices, please refer to our contact page.

The privately owned Walled Gardens at Croome Court is open every Saturday and Sunday from April to September, along with Bank Holidays. Opening hours are 11 am to 5 pm, with the last entry at 4 pm. “Well what a lovely surprise to find the walled garden open today. We have been to Croome on many occasions and sadly have never gone on the “right” day when it was open to the public. To go behind the gate of the walled garden is magical. If you ever were interested in the secret garden book / film then you will not be disappointed. The grounds are in the hands of a private owners garden, 5 acres……..
The restoration work that started 17 years ago is immense. The graft and attention to detail must have been painstaking. It is obviously a labour of love. The owners have done themselves proud .
Please go and support the restoration. It’s been the best five pounds spent, with free tea and coffee. Today the sun shone, the world seemed so peaceful in a little bit of English paradise . Lorraine X”
