About Us

We tackle problems involving computer vision which are geared toward human computer interaction, with embodied agents able to smoothly blend verbal and non-verbal communication.

We take an interdisciplinary approach to answering research questions in areas like:

• AI for Education
• Collaborative AI partners
• User/Group Modeling with Computer Vison
• Affective Computing

And more! We’re often looking for students, from undergraduates to prospective PhDs, so if these research areas are interesting to you, consider applying.

Our group works closely with the SIGNAL Lab and the Sreedharan Lab, among others.
