What a gent! Bruce Willis steps in to warm up co-star Mary-Louise Parker on set of Red 2... while Anthony Hopkins begins work on action movie sequel

The temperatures in England dropped so low on Saturday that there was even snow in several counties.

And one person finding the cold weather difficult to deal with is actress Mary Louise Parker, who did her best to put her head down and push through while filming action movie sequel Red 2.

The 48-year-old actress was seen shooting scenes in the capital, wearing a tiny red miniskirt, black opaque tights and knee-high boots, with just a leather jacket to keep her warm.

Stuggling: Bruce's actions didn't look to have worked as Mary-Louise grimaced, while Anthony Hopkins was also seen on the set of the film for the first time

But Mary-Louise needn't have worried that she didn't have a scarf or gloves, as she was warmed up by surely the best method there is - her co-star Bruce Willis.

Chivalrous Willis was seen stepping in as Mary-Louise, who plays his love interest in the film, shivered and shook in the cold, rubbing her arms in a bid to warm her up.

However, Willis' actions didn't appear to be doing enough, and Mary-Louise grimaced as she tried her best not to give into the cold.

Meanwhile, another actor spotted on the set of the movie on Saturday was Anthony Hopkins, who was seen for the first time in his villainous role for the film.

The 74-year-old actor was seen with co-stars Willis and John Malkovich as the actors shot scenes for the film.

Wearing a white shirt with beige trousers, a red tie and tan overcoat, Hopkins looked dapper in the capital, compared to his co-stars

While it is not known exactly what character Hopkins is playing in the film, it has been reported that he will be playing the villain in Red 2.

It was revealed last year that Summit Entertainment would be releasing Red 2 on August 2, 2013, and that the film 'will reunite the team of retired CIA operatives with some new friends as they use their "old-school style" to take on new enemies in Europe.'

The new movie features an all-star cast including Helen Mirren, Catherine Zeta-Jones and David Thewlis, although the plot is still being kept tightly under wraps.
