WAG Nicola T ditches summer wedding plans after hectic schedule (original) (raw)
SHE was meant to marry her football boyfriend last week but former glamour model Nicola T had to postpone her big day because she's too busy.
Since being the sixth contestant to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house in January, the working mum has released her debut single, learned to DJ, appeared on Celebrity Come Dine With Me and thrown herself into her online clothing range.
No wonder the 28-year-old's schedule has left little time to plan a summer wedding to her fiance Simon Walton, 22, who plays for English League One side Plymouth Argyle.
Nicola said: "I cancelled the wedding because I was too busy. Now we are thinking we're just going to sneak away and do it sometime next year and have a party when we come back."
Like millions of other women, Nicola has become a World Cup widow. But she doesn't mind too much - partly because she has her husband-to-be well trained.
She said: "On the bright side, we get to do lots of shopping without having to worry about our men.
"Plus, my Indesit washing machine does a 45-minute wash-and-dry cycle. It means I can get two loads or washing done during a football match.
"I can say to Simon, 'I'm going out shopping and you can do the washing, all you have to do is press the button'.
"Simon is very well-trained. When you get them young, you can train them up.
"He knows how to cook, he knows how to use the washing machine, he does all sorts."
Despite being a WAG, Nicola admits she is not that fond of the beautiful game.
She said: "I would say it's more hate than love when it comes to football. I am a very bad girlfriend, I don't even watch Simon play.
"To be perfectly honest, he rarely plays close to home, so it's very difficult for me to travel to the matches with the baby."
The couple have a beautiful 19-month-old daughter, Poppy.

She admits she felt guilty about being away from her little girl but has no regrets about going into the house.
Nicola said: "It was heartbreaking and I do feel like it did affect Poppy's behaviour. She had separation disorder so, when I came back, every time I walked out the room, she cried.
"I do feel really guilty but, at the same time, it provided lots more work opportunities, which is better for Poppy's future."
Besides balancing motherhood with DJ-ing in clubs part-time, Nicola is still designing clothing for Delicious Couture, the online business she launched in 2007 following her appearance on ITV2's WAGs Boutique.
Among her growing list of clients is her CBB pal, football bad boy-turned-actor Vinnie Jones, for whom she produced a range of hoodies and T-shirts.
This former page three girl has not ruled out a return to glamour modelling but admits she is not as comfortable in her own skin as she used to be.
She said: "To be honest, since I've had the baby, I just don't feel as confident. Plus, I am getting older now. When I look at the models coming in now at 18 years old, I feel like a granny."
