I'm Principal Investigator for the DAML Integration and Transitioneffort and a Principal Engineer atBBN Technologies.

I chair theJoint US/EU ad hoc Agent Markup Language Committeeand was a member of theW3C RDF Core Working GroupandW3C Web Ontology Working Group.

I'm also the author or co-author of a number of DAML tools:

• DAML DB

I've previously worked on a number of otherDARPAprograms:

I'm also one of the principal developers of BBN'sCronus/Corbus Distributed Computing Environment.

I worked for BBN in Cambridge, MA from 1984-1992. In 1992, I became a telecommuter, based in Portland, OR (1992-1995), Spokane, WA (1995-2004), and Ann Arbor, MI (2004-present).

I have a BS in Computer Engineering from Stanford Universityand did graduate work in Computer Science at theUniversity of Rochester.

My wife Nancy and I have 2 children: Jason (born in 1997) and Noah (born in 1999).
