The Australian stamp issued to honor the World Centennial of the Y.M.C.A. in 1955 features a world map on an interrupted projection (a modified sinusoidal, according to Walter Klinefelter, CP 2:4:11). The northern hemisphere is completely in daylight, while the soulthern hemisphere is in the dark. For that to happen the sun would have to be directly above the north pole, which of course is impossible.
