The stamp was issued in 1976 by Jersey in a set of 19 stamps. The 30p value shows the English Channel with four of the channel islands. Jersey is red, the other three are green. Irvine and Seshold, Errors in Postage Stamp Design, 1979, p. 80, say, "the scale is not constant�Guernsey should be further east and Sark further west."
