As I write this I am on the road, heading south to Devon for a return visit to Exmouth for a show at one of my favourite venues, the wonderful and intimate, Bicton Inn.
What makes this trip a little different is that we all stand on the brink of a precipice which could easily result in the demise of a continent and may well result in an irreversibly altered Western World.
I have been watching and keenly following events as they have been unfolding and I am sending my heartfelt appreciation, for everyone in the United States, who have energised themselves to get out the vote and have, each and everyone, made an outstanding effort to join the early voting lines in record numbers.
I sincerely hope that around the world we shall all wake up to good news on November 6th and have every good cause to celebrate our continued freedoms and democracy.
However it all turns out on Wednesday morning, as ever, I say, Travel safe, take it easy, but take it.
