DL.org - Digital Library Interoperability, Best Practices & Modelling Foundations - is deligthed to announce the publication of four booklets: Digital Library Manifesto, Reference Model - In a Nutshell, Checklist and Interoperability Cookbook, capturing the main outputs of this two-year project. The outputs leverage international expertise to enable the Library & Information Science community of professionals, students and research community.

Reference Model

To address the needs of the complex Digital Library universe, DL.org has produced a Digital Library Reference Model comprising four equally important parts with varying layers of abstraction and concretisation: Manifesto, In a Nutshell, Concepts and Relations and Conformance Check List. Abridged versions of the Manifesto, In a Nutshell and Conformance Check List are available as on-line texts and will soon be available as publications for download.
