Here we present historical documents relating Coal Mining in Durham. We have not reproduced facsimile copies of the documents but rather we reproduce their text, if the document has illustrations then these are included.

We have however, included a picture of the front page of the document (or of the document itself if it is only one page) to give an indication of the look of the overall document.
