Cantigas de Santa María (Songs of Santa María), written by Alfonso X the Wise, manuscript of Florence. Conclusion or second part of the facsimile edition of the "rich" codex_Cantigas de Santa María_ of El Escorial, composed and written by Alfonso X the Wise at the end of the 13th century, formed by the reproduction, also in complete facsimile, of ms.B.R.20 of the Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale de Firenze (264 pages of 45 x 32 cm) which is the immediate but unfinished continuation of the first codex, with the same formal and material characteristics, plus an additional volume of 206 pages with the same format containing the text transcription and the music of the cantigas, the translation of the first volume, studies and comments of historic and critic nature, and an iconographic and stylistic analysis of its 530 miniatures, 88 capital letters and 103 margin borders, written by Ana Domínguez Rodríguez and Agustín Santiago Luque. Both volumes, bound in cloth and leather, are presented in a matching box, along with an LP with a musical assortment. Cf. Cantigas de Santa María, manuscript of El Escorial.
