We are Farout Artistic Research
We conceive transdisciplinary projects developed through the practice-based research methodology, whose results are both artistic and academic, therefore the object of study and artistic reality are in constant dialogue.
Our projects revolve around the concept of artistic connectivity, promoting connections between current art, new creations, science, reflection processes and public participation. At this intersection we seek to encourage reflection, to facilitate the generation of new knowledge, to explore the frontiers of knowledge and creative trends.

We take our name from Farout (18VG2018), the furthest identified object in our Solar System (not anymore, though), placed at the frontier between the known and the unknown.
