Title:DIY Crafternoon - Expanded Square Design
Date: 6/10/2026
Description:Create an entire work of art from a piece of paper. Utilizing cut paper and the positive and negative elements of that paper to create a work of art!

Registration is required and begins May 27 at 9am. A $2 supply fee is due on June 3 at the library by cash or check, to secure your spot in the class.

This class is for adults ages 18+.

Title:Sewing with Barb
Date: 6/11/2026
Description:Join Barb Garnier, a Martha Pullen Licensed Sewing Instructor since 2003, for sewing and comradery. Each month Barb will have a project she will teach the group, or you can bring your own projects to work on.

If a project you are working on has you frustrated, Barb can help you work through it! If you are looking fir a place to spread out and work alongside other sewers, this is the place for you!

Title:Fluid Art Bear Keychains for Teens
Date: 6/12/2026
Description:Explore the DIY art trend everyone is talking about!

Pour acrylic paint over your Fluid Bear in swirling, mesmerizing abstract patterns and leave with portable, one-of-a-kind pieces of art.

Classic Movie Matinee -- The Bad News Bears

Join us Thursday, June 4 at 1pm for the Classic Movie Matinee showing of The Bad News Bears .
The Bad News Bears (1976) follows a ragtag Little League baseball team made up mostly of unskilled, misfit kids coached by Morris Buttermaker, a washed up former ballplayer. As the Bears struggle against overly competitive, win at all costs opponents, the team gradually improves while retaining its irreverent, rule breaking spirit. The film blends comedy and social commentary to challenge traditional ideas about sportsmanship, winning, and childhood innocence. Starring Walter Matthau, Tatum O’Neal and Vic Morrow.

An Evening with Ben Franklin

Join us Tuesday, June 16 at 6:30pm for An Evening with Ben Franklin.
Learn about the life of the famous American Patriot (and the man who our city is named after), Benjamin Franklin. As our country gets ready to celebrate it’s 250th birthday, come and hear about the Declaration of Independence from one of its authors, Dr. Benjamin Franklin (portrayed by Terry Kutz). Dr. Franklin will talk about the Declaration and other experiences he had during the Revolutionary Era.
