During the Cold War years I was stationed in Bristol, Rhode Island at the Army Nike AA Missile site PR-38 from 1956 to 1963. This site evolved from the Nike Ajax in 1956 to the bigger and better Nike Hercules and then to the Improved Hercules in 1962.
