2017 has been an outstanding year for games, during the next few weeks, we'll tell you what we thought were the best games released this year. We'll be counting down our best 10 games for the year starting on December 11, and will be revealing a new game each day until we reach our top pick--GameSpot's Game of the Year--on December 20. Our top 10 list is a reflection of the wide range of tastes, experiences, and preferences of dozens of GameSpot editors from around the world, but that's not all we'll be revealing in December. We'll also look at the year as a whole, give you our thoughts on how the big console brands performed, and look forward to 2018 with our picks of the hottest games of the coming year.
