After winning the all-around competition of the Rhythmic Gymnastics events of the XXIV. UNIVERSIADE 2007 in Bangkokat the Ukrainian top gymnast Anna BESSSONOVA won all the apparatus finals and reached the total triumph.
The Russians Olga Kapranova and Vera Sessina won the rest of the medals, together with the bronze medallists Natalia GODUNKO (UKR; rope), Inna ZHUKOVA (BLR; hoop) and Aliya YUSSUPOVA (KAZ; ribbon).
The all-around qualification of groups ends with leading Russian team in front of Ukraine and Japan.
The group finals were won bei Russia (3 hoops/2 clubs) and Ukraine (5 ribbons)...
XXIV. UNIVERSIADE 2007- Rhythmic Gymnastics - -Bangkok/Thailand, August 15 - 17 -
Nearly all the top stars of the leading international gymnastics nations used these competitions in preparation of the upcoming world championships, which will be held at the end of September in Patras, Greece....
Russia for instance has sent Vera SESSINA and Olga KAPRANOVA, but the Ukraine Anna BESSONOVA was the absolutely top star of this event: After the all-around she won also all the four apparatus final, in front of Kapranova ans Sessina - except three of the four bronze medals, which were won by Natalia GODUNKO (UKR) the Belarus is represented by star Inna ZHUKOVA (BLR) and Aliya YUSSUPOVA (KAZ).
Altogether 37 gymnasts represented 23 nations.

In the group competition the top favorites are also Russia - leading after two exercises - in front of and the Ukraine and Japan..
Russia and Ukraine won the apparatus finals at the end of the Universiade gymnastics competitions.
