The first season of CGL Russia concludes as Virtus.pro overcame forZe 2-0 in the Grand Final.
To finish off the season, the organizers had gathered top four at Click-Net internet café in Moscow, Russia. Virtus.pro were for the event forced to use Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov for the event, as Nikita "Dio" Trifonov had called in sick.
Virtus.pro made their way to the Grand Final by defeating EYESports 2-0 in the semis, moving on to face forZe, who with a 2-0 win against T44 also qualified for the Grand Final.
The runners up at the Russian World Cyber Games qualifier went to defeat forZe 16-11 on inferno and 16-6 on train, to win overall with a 2-0 score. With the win Virtus.pro received the trophy in this first ever CGL Russia season, along with the trophy came a cheque of $500.
This sums up the first season of CGL Russia, seeing top three qualify for the next CGL Super Cup season.

Virtus.pro will be looking to attend the LAN finals for Super Cup II coming 24-25th of October at Donbass Cybersport arena in Donetsk, Ukraine.
