Na`Vi triumph over SK to win in Kiev (original) (raw)

Natus Vincere have been crowned winners of the first 2012 major, winning the IEM6 Global Challenge Kiev ahead of SK Gaming, with a very convincing 2-0 score.

The battle for victory in Kiev started on de_inferno, with SK on the CT side, from where they managed to secure a 1-0 lead, as they won the pistol round. Na`Vi answered back in second round with full buy and going into the half, Na`Vi had strung many rounds together, with SK unable to answer back after winning the pistol, only noting down three rounds, as Na`Vi lead 12-3 after the Terrorists side. Little did a side change help SK, as Na`Vi won the pistol round in the second half, they went on to win another three rounds in a row to win 16-3 and take a 1-0 lead.

Switching to de_train did no good for SK,

Na`Vi continuing their dominance, with every single member of the Ukrainian team displaying great form. Known to be their home map, Na`Vi did not disappoint to deliver a great finish to the show for the Ukrainians making their way to the Kiev CyberSport Arena this Sunday, taking a 14-1 lead at half time. SK gained a lifeline once winning the pistol round of the second half, but life support did not last for long. Na`Vi pulled the plug as they picked up their fourth round to 16-5 and 2-0 overall for the IEM6 Global Challenge Kiev victory.
