Sweden win CB NationsCup XV (original) (raw)
Sweden have regained the throne in ClanBase NationsCup, as they won season fifteen by beating Denmark.
Season fifteen came to a showdown between Sweden and Denmark, a match that won't be remembered for stellar play from any teams, but rather the turmoil during the match.
On first map de_inferno, the teams experience trouble with the assigned server, as an unwanted intruder had gained control of the server, which forced the teams to switch to a different one. With a 12-3 lead after the Terrorists side, Sweden had no trouble winning the map as CT, winning 16-10.
Second map de_train started, but half-way into the first half, with Denmark on the CT side, the intruder returned and made a mess of the match once more. Once restoring the server, the teams went to half-time with Denmark up one round, leading 8-7. As CT Sweden only allowed the Danes two rounds, while the blue and yellow squad took nine to win 16-10 and 2-0 overall.
With the win Sweden regained the throne in ClanBase NationsCup, as they fell short in the previous season, which was won by France. The final standings this season are:
