The Carryover Effect Mixtape is a collection of “misfit” songs filled with tunes we love that, for one reason or another, never quite fit on previous releases along with some new additions. Now they’ve finally found a home together.

We chose the release date for its personal significance. August 29 marks 20 years since Hurricane Katrina, which scattered us like puzzle pieces. Much like our track The Puzzle Song (Pick Up the Pieces), we found ways to put those pieces back together, rebuilding our lives, careers, and music. This album reflects that spirit: taking odds and ends, old and new, and creating something whole, joyful, and full of life.

Also, we made a limited amount of cassette tapes of the album which are available now. Get yours now before they are gone.
