Monster Summer (2024)

Raised in Texas, Nora discovered a passion for acting and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 18 to pursue her career. She shot to fame in Rian Johnson's directorial debut film "Brick" as the enigmatic female lead opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This critically acclaimed, post-noir mystery film won the Special Jury Prize for Originality of Vision at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Zehetner quickly built a reputation as an independent-film darling and good-luck charm with several of her films being picked up by distributors at subsequent festivals. Her thriving film career has seen her play the lead alongside Matthew Lillard in Drake Doremus's comedy film "Spooner", as the young Helena Bonham Carter in "Conversations with Other Women", Rian Johnson's "The Brothers Bloom, cult classic "May" and the Netflix film "Imperial Dreams" with John Boyega and Keke Palmer. Nora portrayed the lead role in visionary director Benjamin Dickinson's "Creative Control," which premiered at the 2015 South by Southwest and was named one of the top ten films of the year by The National Board of Review. She most recently appeared in "Blood for Dust" as the female lead opposite Scoot McNairy and Kit Harrington and the Lionsgate film "Boneyard" with Mel Gibson and 50 cent. She will soon be seen in "Monster Summer" with Mason Thames, Lorraine Bracco and Kevin James.

As an established actress with the ability to embody any character, Nora has made quite the impression on television viewers. Her television career boasts a wide variety of projects and roles, including the supernatural NBC series "Heroes" and a recurring role in the award- winning and hugely popular series "Mad Men" and "Grey's Anatomy." Nora also can be seen in Marc Maron's comedy series "Maron" and was most recently seen starring as Annie Glenn on the Disney Plus series "The Right Stuff". Other credits include Everwood, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Designated Survivor.
