Out of the Unknown: Atmospheric Anthology Series

Such a pity a great many episodes are no longer in the archives. At its best it created chilling atmospheres with lighting, dialogue and ideas. 'The Machine Stops' is probably its most celebrated episode that still exists, but for fans of archival tv there is much on offer here. It has a uniquely British tone to the proceedings and therefore stands out as something else in a landscape dominated by Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits. Definitely worth seeing.
