After 30 years of helping establish Iowa’s extensive trail system, INHF launched Iowa By Trail, our interactive website that connects Iowans to trails and surrounding natural areas.

Features

Iowa By Trail provides interactive maps of Iowa’s multi-use trails that allow users to:

• Find points of interest along their route, like local restaurants, museums and natural resource information
• Share photos, reviews and trail suggestions with friends and followers
• Keep track of distance, weather, news and trail events
