About Islahiya
Born in the 1970s as an institution of Islamic wisdom and centre for learning, Islahiya bloomed with the dedicated works of one of the greatest orators and scholars like K.C Abdulla Moulavi along with a group of dedicated social activists in and around Chennamangallur, in the Malabar region of Kerala. Together, they fulfilled the long-forgotten void of a comprehensive Islamic education system instilling the humanitarian and social values to guide the generations after the independence of the nation.
For the first time in the history of Kerala, the education centre served ample possibilities for moral studies, cultural expansion and quality education, accommodating young learners in and around Kerala

Dear well wishers,
May God’s blessings be upon you all.
Given that its first and foremost purpose is to raise a socially active and lively generation, Islahiya Association is proud of its efforts to increase the quality of religious education in Kerala over the years. Since its foundation, the Islahiya Group of Institutions has taken a unique approach in reaching out to society. The Association has undertaken various projects concentrating on the welfare of undergraduates over the years, not only to support them during their undergraduate years, but also to help them develop the personality and skills needed to compete in the competitive job market they might confront in the future.Learning objectives, in our opinion, are not confined to employment alone. It must be advantageous in terms of current and future victory. Hundreds of students travel to Islahiya each year because of the school’s excellent reputation, acclaimed faculty, and cutting-edge experiments in academics. The association facilitates excellent opportunities to get high-quality Islamic education.
Our Philosophy
The educational system of Islahiya is also keen to revive and explore the current dynamics of modern education together with inculcating modern methods to imbibe Islamic education. The motif is to provide an atmosphere of virtue, wisdom and competitive spirits which continues to inspire and mould students all over the state into future world leaders.
The Management Committee
Islahiya Association is now heralded by a diligent committee of seventeen members including its current President Subair Kodappana and General Secretary Shafeeq Madayi. A body of 90 members from all over the state constitutes the general council of the association and directs and guides the managing committee. Both the bodies together accelerate the smart and safe working of our institutions and proudly lead the association towards its egalitarian and noble missions.
Islahiya 2040
ISLAHIYA 2040 is a target of enthusiasm and commitment to reorganise worldwide trends in deciding education strategy and pedagogy, expanding the boundaries of education and charity that the association has led for more than 70 years.
Islahiya Human Service Association(IHSAN)
IHSAN undertakes small and big projects from housing projects, availing drinking water, distributing Iftar kit and Udhiyat, disaster management and rehabilitation to organising medical camps. Student scholarship programmes, teacher sponsorship programmes, and family sponsorship programmes are also implemented.
Sports for body and mind
The Institution provides ample opportunities to exhilarate students in physical exercise and give to engage in sports. The vast football ground and shuttle court across the college premises proudly await long weary evenings to turn them active and energetic.
Library for thought and ideas
Spanning across the vast area of wisdom, the library here encompasses 25000 books from different areas of expertise including islamic, academic, fiction, non-fiction and other cultural or technical discourses.
Canteen and Cafeteria
With a blend of native remnants and the taste of Malabar, we are dedicated to providing safe, tasty and healthy meals. Students and visitors can also refresh themselves in the cafeteria around.
Auditorium and Conference Hall
The Institution has a large equipped auditorium to conduct special programs, events and cultural activities and maintains an advanced conference Hall for holding official meeting.

My alma mater Islahiya College Chennamangallur stands out as a premier educational institution in India, playing a significant role in disseminating the message of Islam across the country and abroad. It was the first college to introduce the Arts & Islamics Course (AIC) with the objective of producing a new generation of scholars and intellectuals capable of conversing to the modern world in its language. I am extremely happy for being a student of Islahiya's first AIC batch as the course enabled me to drive through life challenges with courage and confidence and make remarkable accomplishments.
