Mini biography: Colin Hanks, the son of Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks, plays the sidekick of two aliens in the WB's, sci-fi television series Roswell. At age 22, Hanks has also landed roles in the teen comedy Whatever it Takes as well as That Thing You Do, which was his dad's directorial debut. At one time, the younger Hanks was rumored to land a starring role in the next Star Wars feature.
