Gur-i Mir Mausoleum, Samarqand, Uzbekistan
Timur built this mausoleum for his grandson Muhammad Sultan, who died at battle in 1403. Timur was himself buried in the mausoleum in 1405. The last of Timur�s family to be buried at Gur-i Mir was Ulugh Beg.
