Weatherline: Daily Lake District mountain weather forecast (original) (raw)
Fell Top Conditions on Tuesday 8 April
Readings from Helvellyn summit at 11:37
Temperature plus 6.3°C Maximum wind speed 8.2mph Wind chill plus 3.3°C Average wind speed 6.5mph Wind direction NE
It was another brilliant day on the fells today, sun and blue skies with a refreshing wind. Helvellyn was a justifiably popular choice today with lots of people out making the most of the brilliant conditions.
The coming days are continuing to look good for being out. The wind is still cool so have some layers and the ground is very dry so extra care continues to be required with any naked flames, stoves or BBQs as wildfire is a huge risk currently.
Perfect weather for enjoying the NP and all it has to offer!
