Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Visually stunning and the landscape is otherworldly. It a little visit to China in the heart of Old Town. The tea and small bites are a great way to end the walk and music and beauty at every turn! Only issue is parking in a shady area like this. Many homeless and mentally unwell people at times yelling profanity and such while we are with kids.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I went here the first week of spring and it was busy but not overly crowded. The entrance staff so nice and the staff at the tea house were very friendly and helpful!
It was our first time visiting and I recommend getting at least one tea to enjoy while there. They show you how to steep, pour, and enjoy traditional teas, which was so nice.
It was such a serene and tranquil experience. You can easily spend an hour here just taking in the beauty and enjoying the little details of everything.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beautiful in the light rain. We sat upstairs at the tea house, and enjoyed an oolong and a white tea. The staff explained everything about how to brew it very clearly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A beautiful oasis in the middle of Portland's downtown. Plan to spend about an hour or two to walk through this lovely garden and buildings. There's a nice little tea house that's a bargain --we had tea for 3 people for only $9.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 4.6 The garden itself is gorgeous and there are some good events. The garden presents better in the Spring through early Fall. The fish are adorable—I love to watch them.
Sitting at the tea house and looking over the pond is serene. The teas are good quality, sometimes they are prepared with water that is hot enough to burn the leaves. The snacks are fun, but sometimes they run out. Go there early.
I suggest going earlier in the day on a business day to get the most out of it, and have peaceful experience.
