Meet the Town Manager

On August 21, 2023, Alan became the 13th Town Manager for Limestone within an 8-year period following the resignation of Alvin Lam. Alan retired from the Department of Homeland Security, Bureau of Customs and Border Protection after 18 1/2 years of federal law enforcement service as a Customs and Border Protection Officer and a total of 35 1/2 years as a federal employee. Collaterally, he served 15 years as the President of National Treasury Employees Union Chapter 141 representing nearly 400 CBP Officers and non-uniformed employees in Maine, New Hampshire, and Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was also a member of the NTEU National Bargaining Team. Prior to that, he was employed as a Branch Chief, Supervisor, and Accounting Technician with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. He also served 4 years as a National Representative for the American Federation of Government Employees and was a member of the National Bargaining Team for the Federation of National Representatives. Before that he worked on the former Loring Air Force Base as an electrician, instrumentation technician, and generator lead operator/trainer. Alan was married to his wife, Rosalind, on September 11, 1976. Their 25th wedding anniversary was on 9/11 (September 11, 2001). They have two children: Ryan and Meagan, and two grandchildren, Abagayle and Michael.
