Little Lancing offers day care for children aged 2 months to 5 years, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year.
We aim to provide every child at nursery with exceptional Early Years education and care. We are very proud of our qualified and experienced nursery team of Early Years educators who work so closely with children and their families.

Our Ethos
Our spacious nursery is decorated in calm, neutral colours and with its natural, authentic and open-ended resources encourages children to be curious about the world around them and enables them to focus on their learning.
Our inspiration comes from some of the most influential pioneers of Early Childhood Education such as Reggio, Steiner, Te Whariki, Montessori and The Forest School approach. Our ethos also follows the principles of The Curiosity Approach to enhance further the early years educational experience of the children we care for.
Forest School
Little Lancing Day Nursery & Forest School has come along way since 2019! Our Forest School sessions are firmly embedded for the Pre-School children and proving very popular.
The children have a separate area behind the main nursery, with trees, wild flowers and plants and plenty of room, along with our Forest School shelter for group activities.
Taking Learning Outdoors
Little Lancing children are fortunate to have access to the extensive play area adjoining the nursery building and spend as much time outdoors as possible.
Every child who attends our nursery has outings in small groups to the beautiful grounds of the Lancing College estate including the woodland walks, the equestrian centre, College farm and the Chapel. For the older children these expeditions are on foot; for the younger children, our nursery triple buggies and our very popular 6-seater Kiddibus turn a walk into an adventure!
