At Madrian Sari Academy there are four towers. Each tower represents a different house and also each house has their own dorms. These dorms are set up upon three different types. The first two floors (starting from the very bottom) have 75 rooms each. These are the single dorms in which students may request to have a single room, though rarely given out. Following the second floor is the third, then the commons, and followed by the fourth. The medium dorms have room enough for two people each. These dorms are set out with 50 on each floor. The commons is where most students stay to study if not in the Observatory. It is situated in between floor three and floor four. Next is the last two floors: five and six. These floors contain 25 dorms each and are the dorms that can hold three to four people.

The only way to get into the doorm house is either through the commons' door or the Observatory door. The Observatory is located at the very top and can be reached by going up the winding staircase on the sixth floor. The room itself is enchanted to be numerous times it's orignal size. It is decorated the House's colors and has numerous plush couches, chairs, and other furniture. Three fireplaces are in this area and in one of the areas is a large telescope for Astrology class assignments. Many students enjoy this area because they are able to have people from other Houses enter. The bad part is that if someone tried to go through the entrance to the sixth floor from the Observatory and are not of that House, they are instantly thrown back into the opposite wall (which is set up with a matress just in case) and their hair is temporarily turned glowing hot pink and an afro.

The Observatory also has a door leading to its round balcony. Some chairs, tables, benches, and even a few cheese tables are set up around the tower. Students are able to go outside and gaze over the entire grounds and a fair distance into the Petrified Forest before the mist and fog blocks out any further view. The balcony has two entrances around it, with each leading to two of the three other houses. These entrances let students walk upon a large and long walk way to the other house. They are then allowed to visit inside that House's Observatory if invited in, else they are locked out.
