Media Coverage of Lysator
It happens once or twice each year that newspapers and magazines mention Lysator. Sometimes we have also been on national television. You can read more about
1995, Ny Teknik, issue #11-1995
"Gammal är äldst i sajt-SM". Lysator won Ny Teknik's contest for Swedish WWW sites.
8 Aug 1994, Aktuellt, at 9 pm
Swedish TV news team Aktuellt visited Lysator on 29 July 1994. This resulted in our web feature that was made available the same day, and a TV news item that was broadcast on 8 Aug.
The Lys-16 microcomputer was designed and built during the 1970s by members of Lysator in close cooperation with one of the departments at the university (ISY). The computer's 16-bit word size made it advanced for its time.
Until somebody decides to write a better presentation here, you have to rely on Mikael Pääbo's article in GARB (in Swedish), the Lys-16 notices in the timeline and the scanned images in the Lys-16 Image Archive.
