After installing LyX 2.2.0 on Windows Vista SP2 x64, the application will not run at all, with the following error:
The procedure entry point K32GetMappedFileNameA could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.
According to list of of changes in kernel32.dll, this function K32GetMappedFileNameA is new to Windows 7, and does not exist on Vista.
From searching the web, I found at least one other application which had this exact problem on Vista, and it was eventually fixed with a patch:

Since LyX declares support for Vista, I believe it should be fixed. Setting this to "blocker" since it prevent the application from being used.
The issue has been confirmed to affect 2.2.0 only. 2.1.4 works fine on Vista.
