History:
(Captain America I#328) - Red Zeppelin sparred with Sawbones at the UCWF facility in Los Angeles.

(Captain America I#374/2 (fb) - BTS) - Red Zeppelin signed with a new agent, Ethan Thurm, who had previously managed the Beyonder, Super-Patriot (John Walker) and Left and Right Winger.

Red Zeppelin was among the superhuman wrestlers captured by the Power Tools (agents of the Power Broker) so that Dr. Karl Malus could experiment on them in preparation for curing his employer. Red Zeppelin's agent Ethan Thurm contacted Battlestar to ask for his help.

(Captain America I#375/2) - Battlestar was also captured by the Power Tools, and wound up placed in adamantium shackles next to Red Zeppelin. Red Zeppelin was taken away by the Power Broker's men Frost and Lynch so that Dr. Malus could begin experimenting on him.

(Captain America I#376/2) - After Battlestar's strength was removed by the Power Broker, he was led to the cell where Malus had stored all of the other experiments, including Red Zeppelin. Red Zeppelin's bones were now soft and rubbery, leaving him unable to move. Although Battlestar was determined to find a way to free himself, Red Zeppelin had given in to despair.

(Captain America I#378/2) - After Battlestar and the USAgent restored all of the wrestlers' powers, Red Zeppelin retrieved Battlestar's shield for him.

In Captain America I#405, Bernie Rosenthal mentioned Red Zeppelin as a former wrestling opponent of D-Man.

He was named Red Zeppelin like the airship because he looked like a blimp. --Markus Raymond
