Department of Mathematics

The undergraduate math program offers a rigorous and flexible curriculum that equips students with the tools to succeed in various fields and allows students to pursue their interests while receiving a solid foundation.

The Ph.D. program is for students with a strong foundation in mathematics and a deep passion for research. Most students pursue academic careers, while some find professional paths in fields such as industry or finance.

Professor of Mathematics, Joseph Silverman, has been elected President of the American Mathematical Society.
